Refund policy
Last updated 12 October 2026
Failed purchases are refunded automatically
If a network or biller does not deliver your data, airtime, electricity token or TV subscription, we return the full amount you paid to your Bram DataPlug wallet. You do not need to ask. Your receipt changes to Refunded and the money is available to spend straight away.
When a purchase is still confirming
Sometimes a network takes longer to confirm. Your receipt shows Confirming and we check with the network every minute. If it confirms delivery, the purchase is complete. If it confirms failure, we refund you automatically. If neither happens within an hour, we review it by hand and settle it, usually the same day.
Purchases that cannot be refunded
- Data or airtime delivered to the number you entered, even if the number was wrong. Networks cannot take back what they have delivered, so please check the number before you confirm.
- Electricity tokens that have been issued, and TV subscriptions that have been activated on the decoder number you entered.
- Data you were unable to use because of your phone, network coverage or plan restrictions set by the network.
Your wallet balance
Money in your wallet is for purchases. If you close your account, contact us and we will send the remaining balance to a bank account in your name, minus any bank transfer charge. We may ask you to confirm your identity first.
Payments into your wallet
Paystack's processing fee is shown before you pay and is not refundable, because it is charged by Paystack. If you were charged but your wallet was not credited, contact us with your Paystack reference or the time and amount of the payment; we will credit your wallet or refund the payment to you.
How to ask about a refund
Contact us through the contact page with the reference on your receipt (it starts with BP). We reply within one working day.
